First of all, VDog awarded me not one, but TWO awards:

If you have not visited VDog before I highly urge you to do so! Her and her little man are quite possibly the cutest things I have ever seen.
Next, Becki honored me with this cute little bloggy bling:

Becki, you already know how fabulous I think you are, right?
Does anyone else out there liken blogging to high school? You know the "circle of friends" that you don't venture out of? (Becki, Toni, Toni, Tori, Jennifer, Heather, Shauna, Jenny you know I love you right? You were there for me in the beginning of my blogging
Like VDog, since I received the "I Luv Your Blog" award and "Blogging Star" award together, I am going to pass them out together.
Notes From the Minivan is a blog written by three truly down to earth moms.
A Whole Lot of Nothing and I share several things in common including our love of Taco Bell and our hate of doing laundry.
And, last but not least, Canned Laughter. She is an admitted Lurker in recovery, a Cowboys fan, and is from Texas! What else does she need?
Now, onto to the "I'm Fabulous" award. I want to pass this on to two people that I think write fabulous blogs.
Whit of Honea Express is hilarious, down to earth and if you catch him now, you can say "I knew him before he was famous"!
Jennifer over at Mama's Moon is funny, courageous and sweet as can be. Go on, head over there and congratulate her on her new job!
Okay, now onto the meme. Serina tagged me to tell you five interesting things about me. (As I sit here trying to come up with something interesting, I am noticing the count on my google reader rising. People! Please! Did you not see the beginning of this post? I am BEHIND! Give it a rest and stop posting at least while I get these 5 things down.)
1. Okay, this is not really about me, but my sister, BIL and niece are moving down here from Kansas. They are going to be staying with us for a couple of weeks until they get a house. What this means is that we will have 8 adults, 4 dogs, 3 cats, 3 hermit crabs and 1 chinchilla in my house. Anyone have a room I can rent? Na. I'm just kiddin. I am really excited about them moving here.
2. The first thing that I do every morning is grab a Diet Pepsi. I have to finish it before I can move on to coffee.
3. I should not have put on make up this morning. Allergy season is kicking in for me and I now look like a raccoon. This post has taken me over two hours (so far) to write because of said allergies.
4. I am only slightly embarrassed to admit that I have the following artists/groups on my Inno (mp3 player, I don't own an iPod): Timex Social Club, Beastie Boys, Peter Frampton (maybe a little more than slightly on that one), T'Pau and Cheap Trick.
5. I almost cut off one of my fingers on my right hand. I was 11 and we were at a horse show. I went back to our trailer to get something out of the tack compartment. My horse got spooked and started backing up. When she did, my hand was pulled under the door to the trailer. All I could see was blood so I handed off my horse to my friend Beth and ran up to the restroom to wash it off. A woman in there saw me and told me she was going to go find my mom. I begged her not to and told her it was just a little cut but she went anyway. When my mom got there, I told her I would be fine and we could go to the ER after my run, but she didn't fall for it. I kept telling her I just wanted to do my run (barrels that is) but in truth, I was afraid of having to get stitches.
Fascinating, I know. Now I get to tag a few of you:
Zoes' Dad
TKT of Tapity Tapity and.....
Mabel of Moderately Modern Mommy
Have fun everyone!

15 People Talking Back:
Totally get ya on the high school thing, I am always comparing it - like how I call Toni the head cheerleader, LOL!!!!!
I'm glad you are spreadin' the love around :) Our clique can grow, but only if I like them, ok?
LMBO!!!!!!
I too am a huge Diet pepsi fan. I am an adict, I admit it. You did a great job.
I am so with you on the being scared of stitches thing. I have a gieant scar across my knee from where I rufused to let the doctor give me stitches when I was 12. It pisses my Mom off everytime se sees it. Congratulations on your awards!!
And last but not least, I hope you feel better soon.
That's cool if you wanna make new friends, but you'll still talk to me right? You aren't too cool for the nerd girl are you? :)
Congrats on the awards!!!
I drink a diet Dr. Pepper 1st thing and if you saw my mp3 list you'd probably laugh.
So many awards, so little time for such a busy girl. :-) If blogosphere is like high school, you would be a cute, popular cheerleader while I am the quiet band-nerd. Sigh. Hey, I found Tappity Tappity on TT and have been reading his blog too. It's weird how we all find each other.
Congrats! You so deserve those! Beastie Boys ROCK!
All of you under one roof??? God help you!
Yippee Skippee!! Thanks!
Much appreciated!
I had Taco Bell today and DID NOT fold laundry.

Hey, I knew me when!
Thank you for giving me that lovely pink award. I will honor and cherish it as I am very secure in my blogs pseudo masculinity.
Seriously though, thank you. Bring your circle over some time- we can pot-luck.
High school, HA! Trying to break into a new clique back in the day was like buying a house in a new development. Cliques were like homeowner's associations; rules, approval, standards to uphold. Oh, the silliness.
And did I hear you right? Someone made OUR Dana work? Some bosses have great nerve. ;)
Oh, and if you make some new friends, cool! But they better be ready to mingle with the whole clique,..uh, circle,...or they're so not in. ;)
Blessings,
~Toni2~
Thank you so much for the awards! Once I get through my twelve step delurking program, I will post who I'm passing them along to.
Now a work from my delurk sponsor:
In consideration of The Great Mofo Delurk today, I am sending this little comment your way. I enjoy reading your blog regularly and look forward to every new post.
Wow, you went pink. I like it.
Thanks for the tag, um I think. So I did my duty and posted my answers. I think though, I would have rather been tagged as an official checker next week.
Dana, you know I love you. I love awards, but I also like finding new blogs that 'my peeps' like. (Even though it's bad for my blogging addiction).
Congrats on all the awards. Your blog rocks!!!!
Aw, you're so sweet!! Thanks for the kind words.
I'm with you -- totally overwhelmed and too many blogs to catch up on -- but I SOOOOO want to. And I need to update the blogroll, 'cause you, my fabulous lady, aren't on it yet. I am so lazy when it comes to peripheral bloggy tasks. ugh.
Expect to see your name in lights *soon* heh.
